Happy Sunday friends… a coffee tag, how original of me (here's a link to my Pinterest board with other tags). I'm sneaking into the last hour of the Reverse Confetti June Color challenge, I've used the Be a Barista coffee cup, plus the PTI wet paint die and die cut out a piece of a coffee holder for the banner (sorry, I snuck in the "wrong" color). The patterned paper is Basic Grey, a doily from work and May Arts sheer with ruffle, chevron twill and burlap string and some water color pencils. There's a new challenge (I'm doomed, b/c I can seriously barely keep up with the ones I like to play along with), but since I find myself making tags on a regular basis, "Tag You're it" seems like a good fit for my challenge happy agenda. My family ditched me to go camping (poor working stiff that I am) and last night I sat down and watched the documentary American Blogger. There's a bunch of negative reviews about how he only interviews a narrow selection of the blogging world-- and I wanted to see more about his vintage Airstream, but the reality is that that narrow selection of folks in the film-- are MY PEOPLE. Most of the bloggers were mom blogs or fashion blogs, but the crafty blog folks are cut from the same cloth. I loved the bits about how well bloggers know their blogging friends and how it's all about being a part of a community. So, crafty peeps, a big virtual hug to each and every one of you….
