bundle of joy

Another cute little tag for the WMS PJ party, but who can resist, right?  I've used a WMS sentiment and background stamp and the baby outfit is a Unity stamp and some May Arts ribbon.

WMS PJ party projects

Happy Tuesday my friends.  I love WMS goodies and I love that there's a new PJ party this month b/c it motivates me to play along (although I'm suppose to be working on a card order, shhh... don't tell).  The top project is for the Gift Card It challenge-- I love decorating a pillow box and ading a gift cart inside.  I've used 3 different WMS sets too, bonus.  I've wrapped the pillow box (which is stamped with a Hero Arts background stamp) with May Arts burlaps and string.  And the card below (which is far too many layers b/c I kept changing my minds and added more...  anyhoo, thanks to the challenge to use your nestie friendly WMS stamps I pulled out this set.  Hope everyone is having a great day.

just a note and thanks card

This card is based off of this one, but instead of a dry embossed background I used a piece of packaging material and added different May Arts ribbon.  Thanks Paper Smooches SPARKS for the inspiration.  I got another card order last wek, so I've got to make some more thank you and birthday cards.  The thanks card below is based off the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.  Spring is definitely in the air here in California, been fun to dust off the tent and go camping.

Cheers wine tag, Tag You're It Challenge!

Welcome to another great challenge at Tag You're It Challenge, funny how mine turned into a wine tag.  Love that Jeanne decided to do a rectangular tag for her inspiration piece.  I've used some patterned paper, PTI cheers die cut, Memory Box flower die, May Arts ribbon, vellum on the Lawn Fawn tag die... it's not often I make a project without any stamping.  I'd love to see how you're inspired, please come join us at Tag You're It!

I made this birthday card last month and brought it as a sample card for last night's crafty gathering.  Since one of the gals wasn't able to make it at the last minute and I'd already cut out the pieces, I decided to play along with the lovely ladies.  So check out these four cards I made while "teaching."  Hope everyone is having a good week, I'll be back tomorrow with a new project for the latest Tag You're It Challenge.

And a shot of the work in progress crafting session.  Always fun.

need to venti?

Who can resist cute water colored Lawn Fawn cups?  Not me obviously.... playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch.  I've used the Lawn Fawn background stamp and a Paper Smooches sentiment, Lil Inker die and some mist for this card.  Sweet and simple and I'm sure one day will serve a purpose?  It's snowing in our little town.... (click here for photographic proof).  I need to take more photos :)

more wine?

Happy Monday crafty friends.  This week's PTI Make it Monday challenge is ombre stamping and I decided to go small- and use the PTI Uncorked set to add a gradient look to the wine glass.  Somehow that worked with my train of thought on half full or half empty and more wine!  Cheers!

Hope everyone has a good week, I'm back in full swing of things over here, excited to be hosting another blogging meet up tonight and this month's crafty class later this week.  And it's camping season in California, so excited to get outside and play.

keep calm and drink coffee

Playing along with the latest Viva La Verve sketch, always fun to think about coffee cards (especially when procrastinating from all other things).  Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  I keep updating my respective Instagram feeds on non-crafty fun, click here or here.

sending you warm thoughts

I'm back.... our family took a road trip earlier this month, so I finally got a chance to go play in my crafty room.  I am playing along with the latest PTI Make It Monday, "Double Partial Die Cuts", I think I like Laura's project better, but coffee cards are my go to when I'm looking to tinker.  I also used the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge for my card.  Now if only someone who materialize in my work office with a cup of coffee?
