hello fall tag

Hello Fall....  I missed my window to play PTI's Make It Monday on Monday morning (like my normal crazy self likes to) b/c I had to drop my son off for a field trip.  But, better "late" then never... right?  This week's challenge is stripes, so many possibilities.  I used the PTI holiday tag as a base and added some leaves (Lawn Fawn dies) and a banner sentiment (PTI) and a Clear & Simple sentiment and tied it together with some Twinery twine.  We made this fun little tag last night at my card class and since I cut out more leaves then we used, you'll probably see more of these pieces :)  And not really related, but some of you may know that my husband and I are building a campground in Nevada City, so very excited to get a huge shout out over on Instagram, so fun to see so many new followers for our project, click here to see what we're building.

you are my sunshine

Was looking for inspiration this morning and thanks to Lynn's card decided to join the one-layer simplicity challenge (theme is the weather).  One layer cards are hard, I want to do more... but I used a Unity stamp and WMS sentiment and some water color pencils and considered it done.

happy birthday

Happy Birthday card, while honestly I could keep on making coffee cards for months, I do have to teach a card making class on Wednesday and it might be good to figure out what we're going to make one of these days....  So today's card... I had cut out the Altenew flowers and stamped the sentiment last week when I saw their September challenge, but something didn't work with my project, so this morning I was inspired by Tenia's fun card and used the Fusion sketch.  I used a stencil for my diamonds and then used embossing paste and gold embossing powder.   I also used the Reverse Confetti die cut, sequins and May Arts satin pleats ribbon.  I'm super excited because today I've organized an Instameet, is anyone else celebrating WWIM12?  To see what we get up to, check out #wwim12nevadacity.

coffee tags

Just call me a caffenine junkie, I'm okay with that.  This set of three gift tags was inspired by the PTI October News which shared Dawn's holiday tags, so I CASEd them and made them all things coffee.  The great thing about having so many coffee sets that you can mix and match things.  The tag on the left has WMS cup, Lawn Fawn saucer and Clear and Simple sentiment, the one in th emiddle has a Lawn Fawn cup and saucer and WMS sentiment, the one on the right uses Clear and Simple stamps (I just turned the cocktail beverage into a cold brew).  So here's to helping the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop hit 528 links (woo hoo!).

you warm my heart

Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends.  I'm not sure I'm going to make it 7 for 7 on coffee cards... (although with the amount of scraps on my desk, I could keep going and going and going...).  But here's another coffee card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop, this time I used the MFT Card Sketch Challenge with MFT coffee cup die cut and sentiment, plus some Clear and Simple stamps and a Hero Arts background stamp, Studio Calico wood hearts and DCWV printed cork.  I have a true confession, I don't like to drink coffee out of take out cups (I will if I have to), but I signifiantly like real cups to take out cups.  Click here for a fun photo of a real pumpkin spice latte I photographed last week at a local coffee shop.

let's drink...

One more project for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, I splurged and got some of the new Clear and Simple stamps (it's all ~amy~'s fault).  Love the sentiments above.  And then after I made the coffee card, I made another one, my hubby just laughed "one for the morning and one for the evening."

Happy National Coffee Day, if you need the low down on where to get a cup of coffee in my neck of the worlds check out my work blog post.

Too Much Monday

Too much Monday...  I really need another cup of coffee...  so I'm playing along (again) with the Coffee Lovers Bloghop with some fun Reverse Confetti stamps.  Coffee?  Anyone?

need to venti?

Happy Sunday crafty peeps.  Because I'm me, I'm playing along (again) with the Coffee Lovers Bloghop, this time I used the new Paper Smooches SPARKS sketch.  Yesterday I used part of the Basic Grey Serenade patterned paper set (I used the front cover sheet), so since it was sitting in pieces, I thought I'd use up the rest of it.  I've used the Paper Smooches Hot Concoctions set (because we all need two cookies, right?).  I also used some printed vellum and a strip of printed cork and added the MFT steam to my mug.  Hope everyone has a lovely day, it's just me and mount laundry over here at the motel.

espresso my thanks

Happy Saturday... I just wanted to espresso my thanks for all the fun Coffee Lovers Bloghop fun...  I used the Lawn Fawn cup on the cover sheet of a patterned paper (it's great b/c the prints are smaller) and a Reverse Confetti sentiment.  Not sure I should drink 6 lattes in one sitting, but the sentiment is genuine.  Hope everyone is having a fabulous day.
