Life is a journey, so pack plenty of coffee tag

Hello! Welcome to another PTI Blog Hop, this month Nichole has challenged us to use the Country Living photo for an inspiration and I used a number of the elements to create a gift tag.  I've used a PTI sentiment and some PTI flowers (in the background), but also included some Lawn Fawn take out coffee mugs and die cuts, Verve coffee sentiment, May Arts ribbon, Sizzix embossing folders, MFT tag dies and some water colors.

Another one of those thanks cards...  this one used two pieces of patterned paper, a piece of letter press, the PTI Mat Stack, WPlus9 doily stamp, PTI sentiment and some gold sequins.  Hope you guys are having a good week.

with sympathy

Happy Wednesday my friends, one of my card class regulars (and A+ Outside Inn blog commenter's) requested a sympathy card for our next crafty gathering next month, so here's my card.  I've used the Sizzix/Stampin Up embossing folder, Unity background stamp and 2 Paper Smooches sets (sentiment and flower and vase) and 2 May Arts ribbon.  The latest Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is "anything goes" and the CASolgy challenge is blossom.  I was inspired by this big leafy green potted plant I have in my work office.

with appreciation

This is one of those thank you cards from that huge order I sent off last week... I had the WPlus9 sentiment die cut from a crafting pen pal and used the PTI letterpress kit for the background, one of those cards that took 2 minutes to put together, but I still love it.

hello Monday

Hello Monday, playing along with the new PTI Make It Monday, I made a quick tag uses mostly PTI In Bloom and Mini Blooms, some May Arts rbbon and a little bit of distress inks.  Quick and easy.  Now off to conquer the rest of the day, which wont be quite so quick and easy....

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday...  I was so inspired by Donna's beautiful card over at CAS(E) this Sketch and while I meant to heat emboss the PTI flowers in white, I accidentally grabbed the clear embossing powder, so be it.  But I had fun with the distress inks, I forget how easy coloring can be.  I'm going to also play along with Virginia's View "All Things Embossed" challenge.  And-- in an attempt to be slightly more organized for my next crafty gathering, I'm going to say we're making this card... anyone want to join us?  Wednesday, April 8th, 6-8pm.

Friend Wine Tag

Welcome to another round of Tag You're It Challenge!  This time we've got the stunning tag by Gayatri.  I taught a wine tag class the other night and I made this one for the class to play with.  Want to know something silly?  After setting up all the pieces, devouring a must needed sandwich, pouring the wine... we realized I forgot the Wplus9 Folk Art Florals stamp set (it wasn't the only thing I forgot).  So check out the creative solution with hearts.  We'd love to see how you're inspired.

just saying thanks

Okay, here are more of those thank you cards.  All of them sporting some May Arts ribbon :)  I am beyond exhausted over here, just switched reservation systems at the motel and the whole process has been causing me to lose sleep- not that it went poorly, it's just a process and there's an opportunity for error.  Now I need some R&R (laughing b/c that's not happening today).

just a note thanks

Happy Monday crafty peeps.  This week's PTI Make It Monday is watercolor "swooshes" and while I've definitely jumped on board with the watercolor backgrounds (and I've got this fun set of metallic water colors that add a bit of sparkle to any project), I actually followed directions (can you hear me laughing?) and did the tips in the video.  I added the PTI sentiment, May Arts ribbon tabs and then used embossing paste with a PTI cover plate as a stencil in the background.  It's hard to tell in this photo, but I've used a purple base.  And below is another one of my thank you card order, I am going to totally overload my blog this week and share-- b/c I've been crafting up a storm and look like I'm going to reach my deadline of sending off all 35 thank you cards to Australia by tomorrow... woo hoo.
